Dr. Regina Lam was born and raised in Hawaii. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and moved to Seattle in 2008 to attend the University of Washington for dental school where she obtained her dental degree. GO DAWGS!
Dr. Lam has wanted to be a dentist since the 2nd grade, being inspired by having a great childhood dentist herself. She loves providing quality, comprehensive care for the whole family and strives to create positive dental experiences with her aloha spirit. Dr. Lam is committed to always further advancing her dental knowledge and keeping up to date with the latest technology and materials so that she can provide her patient with the highest quality of care. She was the youngest dentist to ever to be selected to serve on the Washington State Dental Association’s Pacific Northwest Dental Conference committee, where she helped organize and select speakers for the state’s largest continuing education conference for the entire dental community. Having practiced in Lynnwood for the past 10+ years, Dr. Lam has truly enjoyed getting to know all of her patients and serving the communities of Lynnwood, Edmonds, Bothell and Mill Creek as their trusted, local dental provider.
In her free time, Dr. Lam and her husband take advantage of the great Pacific Northwest skiing and soaking as much outdoor time with lots of walks to neighborhood parks with their kids.
Dr. Ani Vulpoi finds dentistry the perfect mix of art and science. Growing up in Romania, she started developing her hand skills and artistic eye early on by learning to paint from her dad, knit and crochet from her grandmas, and sewing from her mom. From there, she received her bachelor degree in Biology and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington. In dental school, Dr. Vulpoi graduated in the top 10 of her class, thus inducting her as a member of the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society.
Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Vulpoi was trained and worked as a dental lab technician for seven years, creating beautiful and natural looking crowns, bridges, implants, and veneers. Because of her prior training, what she enjoys most about dentistry is applying her artistic and technical talent to recreate natural looking smiles for her patients while making sure patients feel comfortable and at ease. Watch out though for her trying to crack the occasional "dad" joke, she needs help with that! She also enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering as a mentor to underprivileged high school students by encouraging them to pursue higher education as well as volunteering at University of Washington School of Dentistry as an affiliate faculty.
Outside the office, she enjoys climbing mountains, rock climbing, and biking around. Her new pandemic skills are mushroom hunting and making animal balloons.
